Gen 11:10~13:18
Gen 11
10 These are the generations of Shem. Shem was one hundred years old when he begot Arpachshad, two years after the flood.
11 And Shem lived after he had begotten Arpachshad five hundred years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
12 And Arpachshad lived thirty-five years and begot Shelah.
13 And Arpachshad lived after he had begotten Shelah four hundred three years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
14 And Shelah lived thirty years and begot Eber.
15 And Shelah lived after he had begotten Eber four hundred three years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
16 And Eber lived thirty-four years and begot Peleg.
17 And Eber lived after he had begotten Peleg four hundred thirty years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
18 And Peleg lived thirty years and begot Reu.
19 And Peleg lived after he had begotten Reu two hundred nine years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
20 And Reu lived thirty-two years and begot Serug.
21 And Reu lived after he had begotten Serug two hundred seven years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
22 And Serug lived thirty years and begot Nahor.
23 And Serug lived after he had begotten Nahor two hundred years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
24 And Nahor lived twenty-nine years and begot Terah.
25 And Nahor lived after he had begotten Terah one hundred nineteen years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
26 And Terah lived seventy years and begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
27 Now these are the generations of Terah. Terah begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran. And Haran begot Lot.
28 And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his birth, in Ur of the Chaldeans.
29 And Abram and Nahor took wives for themselves: The name of Abram’s wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor’s wife was Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah and the father of Iscah.
30 And Sarai was barren; she had no child.
31 And Terah took Abram his son and Lot the son of Haran, his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went out together from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan, but when they came to Haran they settled there.
32 And the days of Terah were two hundred five years, and Terah died in Haran.
Gen 12
1 Now Jehovah said to Abram, Go from your land / And from your relatives / And from your father’s house / To the land that I will show you;
2 And I will make of you a great nation, / And I will bless you / And make your name great; / And you shall be a blessing.
3 And I will bless those who bless you, / And him who curses you I will curse; / And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.
4 So Abram went as Jehovah had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. Now Abram was seventy-five years old when he went out of Haran.
5 And Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son and all their possessions that they had gathered and the souls that they had acquired in Haran, and they went out to go to the land of Canaan. And they came to the land of Canaan.
6 And Abram passed through the land to the place of Shechem, to the oak of Moreh. And at that time the Canaanites were in the land.
7 And Jehovah appeared to Abram and said, To your seed I will give this land. And there he built an altar to Jehovah who had appeared to him.
8 And he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to Jehovah and called upon the name of Jehovah.
9 And Abram journeyed onward, journeying toward the Negev.
10 And there was a famine in the land; and Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land.
11 And when he was about to enter into Egypt, he said to Sarai his wife, I know indeed that you are a beautiful woman to look at;
12 And when the Egyptians see you, they will say, This is his wife, and they will kill me; but they will keep you alive.
13 Now say you are my sister, that it may be well with me on account of you and I may live because of you.
14 And it came about that when Abram came to Egypt, the Egyptians saw that the woman was very beautiful.
15 And Pharaoh’s officials saw her and praised her before Pharaoh, and the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house.
16 And he treated Abram well on account of her, and there were given to him sheep and oxen and donkeys and male servants and female servants and female donkeys and camels.
17 And Jehovah struck Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife.
18 And Pharaoh called Abram and said, What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife?
19 Why did you say, She is my sister, so that I took her to be my wife? Now then here is your wife; take her and go.
20 And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him, and they sent him away with his wife and all that he had.
Gen 13
1 And Abram went up out of Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the Negev.
2 And Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver and in gold.
3 And he continued on his journey from the Negev as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai,
4 To the place of the altar, which he had made there formerly; and there Abram called on the name of Jehovah.
5 And Lot, who went with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents.
6 And the land could not support them that they might dwell together, for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together.
7 And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. And at that time the Canaanites and the Perizzites dwelt in the land.
8 And Abram said to Lot, Let there please be no strife between me and you and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are brothers.
9 Is not the whole land before you? Please separate yourself from me. If you go to the left, then I will go to the right. Or if you go to the right, then I will go to the left.
10 And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw the entire plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere — this was before Jehovah had destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah — like the garden of Jehovah, like the land of Egypt, as you go to Zoar.
11 So Lot chose for himself the entire plain of the Jordan, and Lot journeyed east; and they separated themselves from each other.
12 Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and moved his tent as far as Sodom.
13 Now the men of Sodom were very wicked and sinful toward Jehovah.
14 And Jehovah said to Abram after Lot had separated from him, Now lift up your eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward;
15 For all the land that you see I will give to you and to your seed forever.
16 And I will make your seed as the dust of the earth, so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then your seed can also be numbered.
17 Rise up; walk through the land according to its length and its breadth, for I will give it to you.
18 And Abram moved his tent and came and dwelt by the oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron, and there he built an altar to Jehovah.

Matt 5:1~16
Mat 5
1 And when He saw the crowds, He went up to the mountain. And after He sat down, His disciples came to Him.
2 And opening His mouth, He taught them, saying,
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.
4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.
11 Blessed are you when they reproach and persecute you, and while speaking lies, say every evil thing against you because of Me.
12 Rejoice and exult, for your reward is great in the heavens; for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
13 You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt has become tasteless, with what shall it be salted? It is no longer good for anything except to be cast out and trampled underfoot by men.
14 You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city situated upon a mountain to be hidden.
15 Nor do men light a lamp and place it under the bushel, but on the lampstand; and it shines to all who are in the house.
16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in the heavens.
